Dear readers,
Some years ago I met a very nice guy with many talents. The first thing I knew was that he wrote stories in the Dutch language. I got two of his stories and read them in one go. After a bit of pushing he agreed to have me publish them under the name Joahd. If you can read Dutch you should visit the story section on my homepage ("Het draaien van de Asion").
Another of his talents is that he paints, but his paintings are too large for my scanner. But most important (for this newsgroup at least) is that he also has been a photographer of boy-photos for many years. He mostly did slides and I've enjoyed a couple of evenings watching his photo's on a big screen. Of course I've made comments that these should be shared, but at first he was a bit reluctant. But at the end of last century he decided that I should go ahead and see what I can do with his slides-collection.
So I bought a slide-scanner (Nikon Coolscan III) and started working on the first box of about 280 slides. And then there was another box which I finished as well, all in all this series consist of 555 scans. What a joy to work on these! Especially because they were exclusively of Asian boys and I've acquired a special fondness for their Oriental beauty. So now I very proudly present this new series which I'll post as the JPP-JAB series. JAB stands for "Joahd's Asian Boys".
Because I wouldn't know which ones to post first, I decided to name them in the order they were in the boxes and to post them randomly. This way you'll get a pretty good idea of what's in store and I'm sure you'll find this series worth to collect. Because the files will be picked at random just before I post them I do not plan to make indexes. Below is a list so you know which boy is in which series.
